It’s funny how just one simple thing can bring back thousands of memories locked away from the past, and millions of feelings felt that you wished never came back. Funny how one person can be the reason for a major change in your life, and that it only takes one person to influence you to do something you’ve wanted to do way before, but just didn’t have the confidence to do it. It’s funny that the person you’re referring to was someone who hurt you countless times, yet you never seemed to find a reason to get mad at the said person. Funny how you two continue to talk, even if it still kind of hurts inside your heart. It’s funny that no matter how hard you try, you can’t remove the feelings you’ve felt and the memories you remember, so the only thing better to do is to accept it and move on. Funny how you’re writing this, and yet you said before, “I’ve moved on already.” It’s funny that you keep trying to think of things to say in order for the presence of this person remains in your mind and heart, at least for this moment.
