Going Home

tears start to fall on top of your cover you can feel it all making your body ache all over

you have your feet in buckets of water they feel so beat from plunging in the gutter

you continue to walk through the muddy pathways checking your clock, your pattern replays

on and on, you continue heading to where your heart is by then, you can resume living your life with ease

as you arrive, you let everything go now you feel more alive while your dog says ‘hello’

removing all the extra load attached to your body; now, in your humble abode around with nobody.
