Bi(cycle)

(There’s nothing wrong with being right. What worries me is what’s left.)

What would be left with me (other than the lingering memory of us together)? What else would be there (besides the regret of having done nothing at all)? Am I wrong for not doing enough, for leaving it all behind?

With one foot in front of the other, watching my feet align with the marks on the road I’m taking, am I sure that I’m going somewhere? Or would it be better to just keep walking, with no destination in mind; let the road take me to wherever it leads to?

When walking away, am I leaving them behind, or am I going towards them?

There are two cycles in this situation, both moving at the same speed; though one might be going the opposite direction.
